At Baba Emma’s, your health and safety matter to us. We’re committed to being transparent about ingredients in our artisan breads, handmade pastries, and other bakery items—especially for guests managing food allergies.

Common Allergens in Our Kitchen

Our kitchen may handle ingredients that contain the nine major allergens recognized by the FDA:

- Wheat (gluten)

- Eggs

- Milk

- Soy

- Peanuts

- Tree nuts

- Fish

- Shellfish

- Sesame

Not every item contains these allergens, but since they may be present in our kitchen, cross-contact is possible.

Cross-Contact Disclaimer (Important)

All items, including those from our bespoke catering services, are prepared in a shared kitchen where allergens are present. While we take steps to reduce cross-contact (such as careful cleaning and separation practices where possible), we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

At our bakery, we may be able to accommodate various dietary preferences such as: 

- Vegetarian / Vegan 

- Dairy-free (preference) 

- Gluten-free (preference) 

- No pork / no alcohol ingredients (when requested) 

- Reduced sugar options (item-dependent) 

It's important to note that dietary preferences differ from food allergies. Even if our artisan breads or handmade pastries are made without certain ingredients, they may still be produced in the same environment as allergens.

If you are ordering gluten-free due to celiac disease or a medically necessary gluten restriction, please contact us first. Because our kitchen is shared, we cannot promise zero gluten exposure. 

**How to Request Dietary Adjustments for Bespoke Catering** 

For the best outcome, please request dietary adjustments in advance and include: 

- Your dietary preference (e.g., vegan, dairy-free) 

- Any ingredients to avoid 

- The date you need the order
